Who we are
BASH Consulting — Bourne Again Solutions — is a Denver-based IT consultancy. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) compete against companies with far larger technology budgets and dedicated IT teams. The systems that give those larger companies an edge — cloud infrastructure, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and modern accounting platforms — are now available to smaller businesses without a large up-front capital investment. Our job is to help you choose, build, and run them.
We work remotely with businesses across the Front Range and beyond, and we keep the relationship personal: you deal with the person doing the work, not a ticket queue.
What we do
We design, implement, and support the technology that runs a business — from the cloud infrastructure underneath it to the financial systems on top. Our work spans Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), so you get current technology without buying and maintaining your own hardware.
The pace of change in cloud computing, data, and business applications is real, and it is easy to over-buy. We help you adopt the pieces that fit your goals and budget, and skip the ones that don’t.

Meet the founder
BASH Consulting was founded by Amr Abdel-Motaleb, our Solutions Architect. Amr started the practice to share the business and systems practices he used inside large manufacturers with the smaller businesses that rarely get access to them.
Background. Over more than a decade, Amr has implemented and supported enterprise financial and ERP systems for multinational manufacturers — including Valmont Industries, AsteelFlash, QAD, Infor, and Navistar — in both technical and functional roles. Education. Amr holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver. The combination of finance and information systems shapes how we design technology: not just to work, but to improve financial performance.
Outside the office. Based in Denver, Amr enjoys biking, hiking, camping, climbing, and running across Colorado. He is an advocate for workers’ rights and consumer protections, and a strong supporter of small businesses.

Cloud architecture
Cloud computing gives small businesses enterprise capacity on demand, with no large hardware purchase. We help you plan the move and run it well.
We work across the three major providers — Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure — and choose the platform that fits your workload, not ours. We also build configurable eCommerce applications integrated with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, so orders and finances stay in sync.
Cloud work includes:
- Infrastructure planning, design, and implementation
- Enterprise software configuration and implementation
- Software development and Application Programming Interface (API) work to connect systems
- System and database migrations with minimal downtime
- Database and data-warehouse design
- Business intelligence and reporting
ERP consulting (technical and functional)
ERP systems integrate finance, operations, supply chain, and more into one platform — and they can be complex to implement well. Our experience spans both the technical build and the functional process design, primarily in manufacturing.
Systems we work with:
- QAD Enterprise Edition (2014, 2016, 2018) and Mfg/Pro (eB2, eB2.1)
- Infor ERP LN (formerly Baan IV) and Infor CloudSuite Industrial (formerly SyteLine, versions 8 and 9)
- Oracle PeopleSoft Financials (9.2) and Hyperion Financial Management (11)
ERP work includes implementation and configuration, process optimization, training and support, and integration with the rest of your systems.
Accounting information systems
A dependable accounting system supports compliance, audit-readiness, and clear financial reporting. The right approach depends on your industry, accounting methods, and goals — there is no single template.
Many businesses run on Excel, and for good reason: it is flexible and familiar. Rather than force a rip-and-replace, we often extend the Excel models you already use and connect them to database technology, so you keep the familiarity while gaining control and accuracy.
